Montevista Hospital offers several levels of care to meet the needs of our community for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. These programs are structured and designed to support those who are struggling with a mental health challenge in their life. We offer the following mental health programs:
We provide acute inpatient psychiatric services to children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. Our youth services clinical team is led by a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Staffed with mental health professionals including registered nurses and master’s level therapists. We provide assessment, diagnosis and rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric referrals to less intensive, appropriate levels of follow-up care and support.
We provide acute inpatient psychiatric services to adults ages 18 and older suffering from mental health challenges. Our clinical staff includes psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers providing assessment, diagnosis and rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric problems.
Red Rock Behavioral Health Hospital, a stand-alone 21 bed facility managed and staffed by Montevista Hospital, provides quality treatment and psychiatric care to diagnose and treat the complex problems of senior adults within our community.
Our chemical dependency inpatient services include a medically managed detoxification program and an inpatient rehabilitation program for the adult population. All chemical dependency programs are voluntary and effectively combine the best of medical and social treatment models to achieve the best results.
Montevista Hospital provides a state-of-the art 48 bed, co-ed psychiatric adolescent (ages 12 through 17) residential treatment program designed to provide a safe environment which will allow a resident to work towards rejoining his or her community as a healthy, successful individual.
We offer Electroconvulsive Therapy on both an outpatient and inpatient basis for adults 18 years and older. ECT is a highly effective treatment option for those suffering with severe depression, mania and catatonia. A specialized assessment in required for this treatment, which is performed under general anesthesia by an anesthesiologist and a psychiatrist.
The Intensive Outpatient Program provides further stabilization in a therapeutic environment for clients who do not require the structure of a full day program like our PHP.
Repetitive TMS is a non-invasive treatment where magnetic pulses are delivered to stimulate nerve cells in the part of the brain controlling the mood, which is often underactive in patients with depression.
